Happy Birthday Cassidy!

The jam turned out perfectly and was mighty tasty on French Toast this morning made with Trabzon Ekmek and Brian's yummy addition of grated orange peel in the batter. Too bad there's a space limit in my stomach, I could've kept eating for a long time it tasted so good.

We walked to Balgat today to get supplies for Lacey's science fair project display board and a big duffle bag for the trip home (Rob took one of our bags of stuff home already!). It is the route my dolmus goes to come home from school, so I'm pretty familiar with the sites, but still it was different to walk it. Things seemed closer by foot than by the seemingly long ride home each afternoon.

After McDonald's for lunch (yes, again) we finished the walk home and played around the house this afternoon. I tried a new zucchini and pasta recipe for dinner, which all 3 of the kids rejected fully. Oh well.
