Made paper chains after some grocery shopping. With glitter and everything. I had flashbacks to filling jars of embossing powder while I was refilling our glitter containers, and oh, how I miss my Tidy Trays (they're trays with built-in funnels at the end for beads, glitter, embossing powder, etc.). The curse of having a laundry room rull of craft stuff at home...with never the time to use it there, but all the time in the world to use it here.

We found some sequins and beads for our Christmas decorating at the market today, and some white "eyelash" yarn that looks snowy! I've waited years to do Christmas crafts, never fitting them into our schedule very well, so I'm kind of excited, I'll admit it :-) The right combination of time and two kids that are old enough...pretty cool.
